The Chashary art object is a transparent barium crystal sphere, 60, 100, 110, or 150 mm in diameter, with an inner laser engraving of a three-dimensional composition “The Labyrinth and the Three Worlds” by Sergey de Rocambole. The composition depicts a contemporary version of the Shamanic Tree, a kind of map of consciousness.

The topmost element of the composition – the upper tetrahedron – symbolically represents the upper world, the world of light, the electromagnetic field. It corresponds to the center of gravity of the head and the point above the head; the cortex and neocortex; the resonant body. In various traditions, symbolic equivalents are the figures of dragon, eagle, condor, or feathered serpent.

From the upper tetrahedron to the lower one, through the center of the labyrinth, runs the axis of Alephs – the axis of neutral states, connecting the three worlds. The basic neutral state corresponds to the throat center, and each level has its own neutral state.

In the middle, there is a symbolic representation of the middle world, the world of words, myths, and archetypes. This is a slightly modified depiction of the Chartres Cathedral labyrinth, the labyrinth of medieval alchemists. The labyrinth is a symbol of the middle world and the heart center; at the same time, it symbolizes the embodied body. The number of steps in the Chartres labyrinth corresponds to the number of days in a woman’s pregnancy. The length of the path in the Chartres labyrinth equals the length of the Via Crucis (Way of the Cross). The middle world corresponds to the animal brain (limbic formation) and is symbolically represented, in various traditions, by a mammal, horse, jaguar, puma.

The lower tetrahedron symbolically represents the lower world, the sublunary world, the world of gravity. It corresponds to the reptilian brain and is represented, in various traditions, by a serpent, anaconda, crocodile, lizard, and other reptiles.

The lower and upper tetrahedrons meet in the center of the labyrinth forming a symbolic figure of two tetrahedrons – the Merkaba, a sign and tool for travelers.

Chashary is an object of power and a magical artifact – the degree of its influence on the surrounding reality depends on the quality of attention, consciousness, and awareness of the person interacting with it.
